Man allergic to 28 different foods detail life ‘increasingly difficult’ – and ‘his kitchen lighter’

A man with 28 food allergies who apparently start with the baby’s formula when he was a baby is talking about this issue and reveals how difficult it is not only to eat – but to choose foods that he can eat safely on a daily basis.

Alex of Sousa said his life has become “increasingly difficult” as his list of severe food allergies has increased over time, reported the Sent.

He has been discovered over the years, he said, that over two dozen foods cause allergic reactions in his body-some of which can be to give life to him.

His most severe allergies, he reported, are for peanuts and legumes, such as peas and lentils.

Other allergies include kiwi, he said, plus seeds, such as coriandra.

Food in restaurants, plus shopping in grocery stores, it’s hard, he said.

“You will go out to eat and you are not just a person affected by this – everyone at dinner is affected by the decision to eat, based on allergies to a person’s feet,” said Sousa, 28, from Glasgow, Scotland.

He added that if others are eating with him, “it’s too much for” where “it’s safe for me to eat,” he told Sans.

He said he should always read the back of food packages and laboratories – “You get very well in reading them after a long time.”

Anaphylaxis is a life -threatening reaction to allergens.

It is said to develop often in childhood, but it can appear at any stage of a person’s life, reported sins.

“Anaphylaxis causes the immune system to issue a flood of chemicals that can make you go to shock – blood pressure suddenly falls and narrow air routes, blocking creation”, Mayo Clinic, the main location of which is in Rochester, Minnesota, marks the website.

“Signs and symptoms include a speed, poor pulse; a rash; and nausea and vomiting. Ordinary causes include certain foods, some medicines, insect poison and latex. “

It also shows, “anaphylaxis requires an epinephrine injection and a subsequent trip to an emergency room. If you do not have epinephrine, you should go to an emergency room immediately. If anaphylaxis is not treated immediately, it can be fatal.”

While he was in his teens, Sous said he had to learn to cook himself – and that his parents had to change his second family in his allergies.

Cooking for himself, he said, he was able to choose safe and specific ingredients that did not pose a threat.

“The easiest kitchen for me,” he said, “it’s Italian food.”

There are no “many ingredients” in that type of food, he said, which is an accident.

To help navigate his issue, he has developed an online tool to help restaurants show allergens easier, he said.

He said he has spoken to many other people with food allergies – and everyone says they had the same battles he falls with all his life.
